May 16, 2014 – Making Meetings Magic with Speech Coach Lou Heckler, CSP, CPAE and NSA-IL Annual Meeting
Note the new venue and new time – Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm
This program will help you keep your audiences delighted and enthralled at your workshops and speeches. Lou Heckler, CSP, CPAE, will show us ways to find and use fresh material…to include the audience in subtle ways you may not have considered, and to leave people with the feeling they haven’t just attended a conference…but that they’ve had a wonderful experience.
He will incorporate ideas gleaned from a variety of sources – analyzing top professional speakers, watching Broadway performers, even his careful observations about the ways all of us interact with each other. He treats each of his presentations as a genuine performance, and yet leaves every audience member feeling like he has spoken right to them. Best of all, he’ll tell us how he does that!
Lou will show you:
* How to find fresh, original material
* How to continually update that material to stay current
* How to change your reading habits to nurture your creativity
* How one question may lead you to teaching and speaking breakthroughs
He has done more than 100 chapter programs over the years. His sessions at NSA are almost always SRO because they are fast-paced, experience-based and filled with his trademark whimsical humor.
